Mrs. Kelli Dower, M.Ed.

Mrs. Dower is the new director of Patriot High School's choral music program.  As an experienced music educator for more than 10 years, Mrs. Dower brings with her the energy and enthusiasm of her past success. 

Her former choirs have performed at Chicago's Orchestra Hall, The Mormon Tabernacle, the historic Riverside Church in New York and most recently New York City's Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. 

She holds two Master's degrees in Education and Music, a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and is currently pursuing doctoral studies at both Boston University (music education) and Taft University School of Law (educational law).  She is also a fully credentialed music teacher and has administrative credentials as well.  Her experience across the curriculum includes membership on the California Commission of Teacher Credentialing's Board of Institutional Review, the CSET panel, WASC accreditation visiting teams, and membership in ACDA, SCVA, and MENC.  She was named "Teacher of the Year" for the Sam Walton Foundation in 2005!

Above all she is the wife of Bill and mother of 4 children ages 15, 12, 9, and 5.
